Babylon High School has been named one of the top 100 high schools in New York State as part of the U.S. News & World Report’s Best High Schools listing. With a silver award, the school was ranked No. 1,246 nationally and No. 100 in the state. More than 31,240 high schools throughout the country were reviewed and only 268 schools in New York were acknowledged in the rankings. Awards were based on the school’s overall performance on state assessments and how well it prepares students for college and careers.

“Our dedicated and talented faculty, staff and administration work hard every day to provide our students with the highest quality 21st-century education,” said Superintendent of Schools Richard Rozakis. “This acknowledgement of their efforts only reinforces their determination to go above and beyond for every child. We should all be very proud of our junior-senior high school.”
