A sea of gray hair could be seen at Babylon Elementary School as kindergartners, dressed as 100-year-olds, celebrated the 100th day of school and all they have accomplished since September.

Throughout the day, students participated in mathematical activities based on the commemorative number, such as making necklaces out of 100 Fruit Loops, counting to 100 using different increments, and completing special projects using 100 of the same item. Branching into the arts, some students drew pictures of what they would look like at the age of 100. They also shared what their favorite day of the year has been, as well as something they have learned in the first 100 days of school.
