Appreciation for the Arts

The artistic and musical talents of Babylon Elementary School students were on display during the school’s Spring Art and Music Festival this May.

During the event, attendees viewed a myriad of art pieces created by kindergarten through second-graders. The selections included one-point perspective farm photos, surrealism eyes and a showcase of the traditional Japanese method of fish printing “Gyotaku.” With the help of technology, attendees were able to scan a QR code to hear the students speak about their favorite pieces in the show.
