Babylon Junior-Senior High School celebrated the achievements of the 147-member Class of 2015 during a graduation ceremony rich in tradition and pride this June.

Led by the American Celtic Band and color guard, the students entered Coach Williams Memorial Field and took their seats surrounded by proud parents and friends.

Among those addressing their peers were Senior Class President Kathryn O’Sullivan, Student Council President Emma Rende, valedictorian Mohankumar Chintariapalli and salutatorian Ronald Pashen, all of whom provided sage advice and words of reflection. Principal Al Cirone gave the welcome address, and Superintendent of Schools Richard Rozakis extended his best wishes to the soon-to-be graduates.

In addition to musical selections by the band and concert chorus, the senior class’s singing of the Babylon alma mater and the traditional release of white doves, the students heard a farewell address by junior class advisor Frank Mancuso before receiving their diplomas.
