The 126 members of the Junior-Senior High School Class of 2016 celebrated their commencement on June 25 on Coach Williams Memorial Field.

Led by the Color Guard and the American Celtic Pipe Band, the seniors marched onto the field to “Pomp and Circumstance.” Michael Logan, senior class president and Haley Watt, Student Council president, offered a reflection on year’s past and a look ahead to new beginnings.

Valedictorian Adam Gumbardo and salutatorian Ryan Cosgro spoke about the support they received from their community, school and peers, support which will serve as a stepping stone to future success. After the presentation of diplomas by Superintendent of Schools Linda Rozzi and Board of Education president Ann Donaldson, the concert chorus joined together one last time to sing “Time of Your Life” by Green Day.
